OU is not outside the relm of possibilities. It would take a tough win over Syracuse in the third round, then a shocking win over UNC in the fourth.
To be honest, I'm not very good at calling college basketball. I tend to favor traditional powerhouses and namesakes more than current streaks and momentums.
Possible bracket-busters for me are the possibility of a Wake Forest/Louisville matchup in Round 3. I have USC upsetting Michigan State in Round 2, if that doesn't happen, then a Michigan St/Louisville matchup in Regionals is possible.
I don't really see much competition for UCONN and Memphis in the West, but I could see UCONN beating Memphis. Also, a couple of Maryland upsets could really throw the West into disarray for me.
In the East, I have Xavier upsetting Pittsburg in Round 3. If I am wrong on that, then Duke is far from a sure shot for the Final Four.
In the South, I have Gonzaga falling to North Carolina in Round 3. If Gonzaga pulls off an upset, I could see them knocking off Syracuse to make the final four (expect a buzzer beater on that one). However, if Gonzaga upset UNC, and OU beat Syracuse, then you could see an OU appearance in the Final Four. I still see that as a long-shot.
But hey! It's March Madness... a tradition that makes prognosticators like me look like fools.
Next year, I think I'll research the game a little more before making predictions.

I'm hoping OU makes it in there somehow.
