So, I am driving home tonight when my daughter Rachel begins to talk about how most women don't want to support Obama because he will raise taxes... hmmm. Maybe I've been listening to Hannity too much in the car... then I find out she learned a lot about the candidates from her teacher. I sure am glad I live in a red state.
I still need to vote early. Rachel says she's upset that she can't vote until she's 18... so she'll never get to vote for McCain. lol.
God uses life's circumstances to transform us into the persons He intended on us being. Here's my journey...

Rain!!!!!!
It rained last night and this morning in Brownwood. While the rain is good for ground moisture, agriculture and lawn maintenance, it is not so good for lawn maintenance, carpet and laundry. Hehe, the kids enjoyed it, though.

Man, I feel like a woman
Jessica was tired after church today, so I decided to let her take a nap while Rachel and I teamed up on laundry duty and Joshua washed dishes.
Three hours and a flooded kitchen later, we found there was still a lot of work to do. I don't know how Jessica keeps up with all four of us without losing her mind! Maybe those Sunday naps help?
Anyway, Rachel and I have devised a system to help keep the laundry in check. As for Joshua and the dishes, that's a whole other matter altogether. Does anyone know how to dam up a kitchen?
